We tell stories with purpose; creating content designed to make the audience feel something, learn something and ultimately do something.

Even when we aren't working in education, our work is educating. We want to build empathy and desire to create applicants, advocates and customers.

Our stories can also educate your workforce, helping employees feel engaged and able to work with clarity of purpose.

We combine creativity, collaboration and craftsmanship. Projects span film, photography, animation and copywriting. Recent work has included staff portraits, documentary and promotional films, animated explainers and student profiles.

Our Story

Story was launched by Jimi Lund and Mark Dolby, content creators with a wealth of experience in the education sector.

As a filmmaker, Jimi has worked with many of Yorkshire’s most successful Universities as well as leading brands such as Unilever, Nestle and Hermes. He has also taught in higher education, sharing his experience and expertise with post-graduate film students.

After four years working at digital agencies with brands such as Ronseal, First Direct and Sony Music, Mark joined the University of Bradford as Internal Communications Officer. In 2014 he left to pursue a career in photography. With Story, he now combines his love of visual storytelling, with his earlier higher education and marketing agency experience.
